Kanpur Institute of Technology was established in 2004 and is affiliated to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The Institute offers undergraduate courses in Computer Science & Engg., Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engg., Electronics & communication Engg., Mechanical Engg., Pharmacy, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, Manaement, Computer Applications, Vocational Courses, Diploma in Automobile, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical and Production Engineering along with Post Graduate Courses in Management, Computer Applications and M. Tech. in CS, EC and ME branches. The Institute is promoted & run by IIT Alumni.
